Several of the largest U.S. defense primes have recognized us for supplier excellence, and our hardware has supported award-winning NASA deep-space programs.Why join us?$35–$45/hr + bonus4-day work week: four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday (occasional Fridays or weekends when production requires)Full medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, plus a 401(k) retirement planPTO accrual up to 120 hours, plus 10 paid holidaysAncillary benefits: hospital indemnity, accident, critical care, identity theft, and legal insuranceWorking Lead position: stay on the machines while serving as the shop's technical leaderReal influence on setup standards, tooling, workholding, and shop-wide process improvementA growing public company with nationwide sites, offering long-term stability and room to advanceJob DetailsJob Details:You'll set up and run CNC equipment producing complex aerospace components, tooling, and fixtures, while serving as the go-to technical resource for the machine shop.Perform complex CNC setups and machining operations; determine tooling, workholding, machining sequences, and setup strategiesRead and interpret engineering drawings, specs, and GD&T; perform precision measurements and verify dimensional conformanceSupport program prove-out and first-part production, working closely with CNC Programming, Engineering, and QualityCoordinate daily machining priorities; train and mentor less-experienced machinists through difficult setups and troubleshootingDrive improvements in setup and cycle time, machine utilization, scrap and rework, and standardized machining practicesLooking for:CNC machining experience with a focus on complex, tight-tolerance componentsSenior Machinist through Lead Machinist level considered, with experience training or providing technical guidance to other machinistsExperience in any of the following areas welcomed:Aerospace or defense manufacturingMulti-axis / 5-axis CNC machiningCNC programming / CAMAS9100 quality environmentsPrior Lead Machinist responsibilitiesFixture and workholding designSetup reduction and continuous improvementInterested in hearing more?
