This role combines hands-on engineering, technical leadership, and mentorship while partnering closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to deliver customer-focused experiences.This role is onsite 5 days a week in Grapevine, TX.What You'll DoLead the development and delivery of mobile applications and features supporting GameStop's PowerPacks ecosystem.Design, build, and maintain scalable solutions using React Native, Swift, and/or Kotlin.Drive technical decisions and contribute to mobile architecture and engineering standards.Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality customer experiences.Mentor and coach engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and best practices.Improve application performance, reliability, and maintainability.Use data and customer feedback to influence product enhancements and prioritization.Support continuous improvement across development processes and engineering practices.What You'll BringExpert-level React Native and TypeScript practicesExperience shipping and maintaining production iOS and Android apps, including App Store and Google Play release processesStrong understanding of state management tradeoffs: server state, form state, and local UI stateExperience integrating REST and/or GraphQL APIs (Axios, Apollo, or similar)Experience with a mobile component library or design system (React Native Paper, NativeBase, Tamagui, or similar)Familiarity with React Navigation or Expo RouterComfort writing tests and working with mobile e2e test suites (Detox, Maestro, or Appium)Experience in a fast-paced ecommerce environment, including familiarity with checkout and payment flowsProficiency with Git-based workflows and mobile CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Fastlane, or similar)Strong communication skills and experience mentoring other engineerEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThis employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.For further information, please review the Know Your Rights notice from the Department of Labor.
