Established in 2022, Hair Rap By YoYo continues to grow as a leading name in the salon space, driven by ongoing learning, innovation, and an elevated client experience.Role Description The Lead Mobile Architect is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad, responsible for shaping the technical vision and architecture of Hair Rap By YoYo’s mobile applications and digital salon experience. This role involves designing and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performing mobile solutions that support booking, customer engagement, and internal workflows. The Lead Mobile Architect will collaborate with product owners, designers, and engineering teams to translate business needs into technical requirements, define architectural standards, and oversee implementation across iOS and Android platforms. Day-to-day activities include reviewing code and system designs, mentoring developers, conducting technical assessments, and ensuring integration with backend systems, payment gateways, and analytics tools. The role also requires staying current with mobile technology trends and suggesting improvements that enhance usability, performance, and overall client experience.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong mobile architecture and development skills, including experience designing and building complex iOS and/or Android applications.Candidates should possess backend and integration capabilities, such as working with APIs, microservices, cloud platforms, and secure data handling.Candidates should possess software engineering best practices, including code review, testing, performance optimization, and documentation.Candidates should possess product and UX collaboration skills, with the ability to translate business and user requirements into technical designs that enhance the salon’s digital experience.Candidates should possess leadership and communication skills, including mentoring engineers, coordinating cross-functional teams, and presenting technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in mobile architecture roles.Experience with CI/CD pipelines, security standards for mobile apps, and analytics or customer engagement tools is highly beneficial.Familiarity with the beauty, wellness, or retail sector and an interest in elevating client experiences through technology is a plus.HAIR RAP BY YOYOwork@hairrapbyyoyo.com9737504504
