Location: Lisbon (Hybrid) Experience Level: Senior Language: English (minimum B2) Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable applications using C#, .NET 6+, and ASP.NET Core.Define and implement robust architectures based on microservices and distributed systems principles.Develop and manage event-driven integrations using messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, or Kafka.Optimize database structures, queries, and performance while ensuring data integrity and scalability.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver high-quality technical solutions aligned with business requirements.Lead technical discussions, perform code reviews, and mentor development teams, promoting engineering best practices.Ensure application reliability through automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, security controls, and observability practices.Required Skills & ExperienceAt least 6 years of experience in software development using Microsoft technologies.Strong expertise in C#, .NET 6+, and ASP.NET Core.Proven experience designing and implementing distributed systems and microservices architectures.Solid understanding of software architecture patterns, design principles, and solution design.Strong knowledge of SQL, database modelling, performance tuning, and optimization techniques.Hands-on experience with event-driven architectures and messaging platforms such as RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, or Kafka.Experience implementing automated testing strategies, including unit and integration tests.Strong knowledge of CI/CD practices and modern DevOps methodologies.Experience with Docker and containerized application development.Knowledge of cloud environments and cloud-native application development.Understanding of application security practices, monitoring, logging, and observability principles.Demonstrated leadership skills, including technical guidance, code reviews, and developer mentoring.Nice to HaveHands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration platforms.Experience with Flowable, BPMN, or other workflow automation platforms.Knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and cloud architecture best practices.Experience implementing advanced monitoring and observability solutions.Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools.Experience working in Agile environments and participating in technical decision-making processes.Lead .NET Developer — Is that us?
