Made for Trade, DMCC is proud to sustain and grow Dubai’s position as the place to be for global trade today and long into the future.Role Summary:Responsible for supporting the Product Development function through market research, competitor intelligence, business case preparation, product lifecycle management, feasibility studies, strategic initiative tracking, and the development of new products, services, business set up packages and ecosystem initiatives. The role works closely with the Senior Manager – Partnerships & Product Development to identify growth opportunities, evaluate new concepts, monitor product performance, and support implementation of new revenue-generating initiatives.The Lead Officer - Product Development is a contract opportunity at DMCC **Responsibilities:Maintain competitor reports, country fact sheets and market intelligence. Provide reports and data and conduct research activities required to support strategic decision-making when requested by the Free Zone Management as required. Work alongside Partnerships & Product Development Manager to prepare new product development plans including business case development, feasibility analysis, market research, swot analysis, process creation and lead cross-functional teams through the design, develop and implement stages of product cycle.Monitor the entire lifecycle of free zone products and services and report findings to the Senior Manager – Partnerships & Product Development.Manage supplier and partner performance and communication and track their performance, engagement and satisfaction.Support Partnerships & Product Development Manager in organizing focus groups and market research activities to identify opportunities for new product and services development. Proactively work on improving the uptake of our Value-Added Services by consulting with Marketing, IT and other functions to boost marketing efforts and customer experience. Working with members of the ecosystem teams on joint projects that impact common clients/services to ensure a joined-up approach. Information sharing for business development opportunities.Efficiently working with sales, operations and member success team members to review future opportunities for business development.Working relationship to ensure that the marketing plans for new free zone initiatives are well designed, developed and deployed.Development, review and execution of contracts and product terms and conditions. System enhancement to support the launch of products.Work closely with market research agencies to develop a clear understanding of the Free Zone business, market and potential clients to ensure relevant information is provided.Form relationships, negotiate terms and manage performance for a range of service providers, government departments and other business partners.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree educated in business, commerce or marketing.At least 5 years’ experience in the UAE within marketing, business development or product development.Fluent in English, additional languages such as Arabic, a plus.Research & Analysis: structured market‑intel and opportunity sizingTools: CRM (e.g., Salesforce), Excel/Sheets, PowerPoint, SharePoint/TeamsStrong report‑writing.
