Strong Communication skillsJob Description SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Lead Oracle Fusion Financials Consultant with a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent active accounting credential. Bridge complex corporate accounting standards with technical ERP delivery, serving as the functional architect for full-lifecycle Oracle Cloud Financials implementations.Guide C-suite finance stakeholders, lead process design workshops, configure core Oracle modules, and ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS standardsKey ResponsibilitiesArchitectural & Business LeadershipLead end-to-end implementations, upgrades, and optimization projects across Oracle Fusion Financial Cloud modules.Serve as the primary liaison between IT teams and client finance executives (CFOs, Controllers, Accounting Managers).Translate complex US GAAP / IFRS accounting principles into scalable Oracle system configurations (e.g., revenue recognition, lease accounting rules, intercompany eliminations).Functional Design & ConfigurationLead business process design, fit-gap analysis, and requirement-gathering workshops.Configure modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management (CM), Expenses, and Subledger Accounting (SLA).Design Chart of Accounts (COA) structures, multi-org/multi-currency setups, and secondary ledgers.Testing, Governance & ReportingManage Conference Room Pilots (CRP), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), cutover activities, and post-go-live hypercare.Build functional specs for custom extensions, BI Publisher reports, OTBI dashboards, and integrations.Oversee financial data migration strategy and ensure complete reconciliation between legacy systems and Fusion Financials.CategoryRequirementsCertification: Active CPA (Certified Public Accountant) license or equivalent (e.g., ACCA, CA) required.Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Management Information Systems (MIS).ERP Experience: 8+ years of Oracle Financials experience, with a minimum of 3–5 years leading Oracle Fusion / ERP Cloud implementations.Functional Expertise: Deep knowledge of GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash Management, SLA, and Financial Reporting Web Studio (FRWS) / OTBI.Accounting Depth: Strong foundation in corporate accounting, financial consolidation, intercompany processing, and month-end/year-end closing procedures.Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
