Lead Pilot in Command – Challenger 350Full-Time – Gary, Indiana Jet Linx is seeking qualified Lead Pilot in Command candidates for our Super Midsize jet aircraft for Part 91 and 135 flight operations. It is expected that the candidate lives, or be willing to relocate, within a 2-hour call out time of their home base.Position SummaryThe Lead Pilot in Command (PIC) reports directly to the Base Chief Pilot. The Lead PIC prepares and ensures the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft in accordance with the Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures. The Lead PIC serves as a primary point of contact for the aircraft owner and partners with internal teams to support a seamless aircraft and trip experience.Minimum Requirements:Total Flight Time - 4000 hoursTotal PIC - 2000 hoursTotal PIC in CL350 Type – 500+ hoursMulti-Engine – 1000 hoursMulti-Engine PIC - 500 hoursTurbine Time – 1000 hoursTotal Turbine PIC - 1000 hoursTotal Instrument - 300 hoursTotal Jet - 1500 hoursTotal Jet PIC - 500 hoursEssential Functions:Manage duty, flight, and rest times to requirements of both the company and CFRsMaintain communication with the company for standby duty assignments, trip notifications, position calls, and pre- and post-flight reportsMaintain and manage electronic flight bag (EFB) hardware and applicationsEnsure navigation charts, publications, and company manuals are currentMaintain a current 1st Class medical certificateConvey strong, proactive decision-making skillsDemonstrate Jet Linx’s core values in all interactionsAct as primary point of contact for aircraft and flight matters related to the CL350Partner with the Jet Linx Aviation Regional Vice President and concierge team on trip logistics supportExercise schedule flexibility to support aircraft and owner needsMentor additional crew members to meet the expectations of Jet Linx Aviation and the aircraft ownerOther Requirements:Initial or Recurrent 142 training in type within the last 24 months is preferred.Certified Aviation Manager (CAM) certification is preferred.Ability to obtain a U.S. driver's licenseProof of eligibility to work in the USCurrent passportATP (ability to obtain ATP)1st Class MedicalFCC Restricted Radio LicenseAbility to pass a pre-employment drug screen and submit to random drug/alcohol testing when required; anyone in a safety-sensitive function will be required to undergo pre-employment drug testing for the presence of marijuana, cocaine, opiates, phencyclidine (PCP), and amphetamines.Unrestricted ability to travel to all EU, Canada, and Caribbean countriesAbility to release and pass a FAA Pilot Record Database review with a System Chief PilotAbility to work nights, weekends, and holidaysBachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience requiredMajority of work is completed in and around aircraft and aircraft terminalsMove up to 50 pounds on a frequent basisCompensation:Jet Linx offers a competitive compensation and benefits package to team members. Starting base annual salary for this position ranges from $280,000 to $325,000. Actual base salary provided is dependent upon geographic location, aircraft size (crew positions), relevant education, training, and experience of the candidate.
