Lead Preschool Teacher

Our organization continues to prioritize the safety of all students and staff as we navigate these unprecedented times.Role Description The Lead Preschool Teacher is a full-time, on-site position responsible for planning and leading daily classroom activities for preschool-age children. This role includes designing and implementing age-appropriate lessons, guiding small and large group learning, and maintaining a safe, organized, and positive classroom environment. The Lead Preschool Teacher observes and documents children’s progress, communicates regularly with families, and collaborates with team members to support each child’s individual needs. Additional responsibilities include preparing instructional materials, managing classroom routines, and ensuring compliance with school policies and early childhood education standards.QualificationsStrong foundation in Early Childhood Education and experience working with preschool and kindergarten-age children.Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development tailored to early learners.Effective Communication skills for engaging children, collaborating with colleagues, and partnering with families.Knowledge of child development, classroom management, and age-appropriate instructional strategies.Ability to create inclusive, culturally responsive learning environments that support diverse backgrounds and abilities.Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred; relevant certifications or state-required credentials are a plus.Previous experience as a lead or assistant teacher in a preschool or early learning setting is highly beneficial.
