The preschool is solely focused on Early Childhood Education and is not affiliated with elementary, middle, or high schools. Its values-based approach aims to help children lead lives of significance and positive impact.Role Description The Lead Preschool Teacher is a full-time, on-site role located in Delray Beach, FL. This position is responsible for planning and leading daily classroom activities that support the developmental, academic, social, and spiritual growth of preschool-aged children in alignment with the school’s Christian values and curriculum. The Lead Preschool Teacher designs and implements age-appropriate lesson plans, manages classroom routines, and maintains a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment. The role involves ongoing communication with families and colleagues, documenting student progress, and collaborating with the preschool leadership team to support school-wide initiatives. The Lead Preschool Teacher also mentors assistant teachers, ensures compliance with licensing and accreditation standards, and participates in professional development.Qualifications Strong background in Early Childhood Education, including knowledge of child development and best practices for preschool learning.Demonstrated skills in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development tailored to preschool and Kindergarten readiness.Excellent Communication skills for engaging children, collaborating with colleagues, and partnering with families.Experience preparing children for Kindergarten entry, including foundational literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional skills.Relevant education such as an associate or bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field; state-required teaching credentials or certifications are preferred.Ability to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment consistent with the school’s Christian values.Experience in a preschool or early learning setting, with familiarity with accreditation and licensing standards.Strong organizational skills, reliability, and the ability to manage a classroom and lead a small teaching team.
