Led by founder Nicole Chaudry, WorldKids® School emphasizes education as a powerful force for positive change and seeks team members who share this mission.Role Description The Lead Preschool Teacher is a full-time, on-site role based in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill Area. This role includes planning and implementing age-appropriate lessons, guiding children through daily classroom activities, and fostering a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. The Lead Preschool Teacher develops and adapts curriculum to support multilingual language immersion and early childhood development goals. Responsibilities also include observing and documenting child progress, communicating regularly with families and colleagues, and collaborating with school leadership to uphold program standards and licensing requirements. The teacher models positive behavior, supports classroom routines, and mentors assistant teachers as needed.Qualifications Strong foundation in Early Childhood Education and experience working with preschool and kindergarten-age children.Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development tailored to multilingual, play-based, and developmental learning environments.Excellent Communication skills for collaborating with families, colleagues, and administrators.Ability to create inclusive, culturally responsive classrooms that support language immersion and social-emotional growth.Relevant education such as an associate or bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field; appropriate teaching certifications preferred.Experience with classroom management, child safety, and regulatory compliance in childcare or school settings.Commitment to ongoing professional development and alignment with WorldKids® School’s mission and values.
