Join a business with deep technical roots, where your voice is heard, your impact is visible, and your career is part of a legacy of excellence.YOUR ROLEAs Lead Procurement Engineer you will Procurement Strategy & PlanningDevelop and execute procurement strategies aligned with project objectives, budgets, and timelines.Collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, and Finance teams to optimize procurement outcomes.Support procurement planning across multiple business units, including Oil & Gas, Power, Marine, Civil, and Plant Projects.Procurement Process ManagementLead the end-to-end procurement cycle from requisition to delivery.Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.Continuously improve procurement processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Supplier & Vendor ManagementIdentify, prequalify, evaluate, and manage suppliers and subcontractors.Build strategic supplier relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and competitiveness.Lead commercial negotiations to secure favorable pricing, terms, and delivery commitments.Conduct supplier performance reviews and implement improvement plans where required.Provide regular progress reports and strategic recommendations to senior management.Contract ManagementLead the preparation, negotiation, award, and administration of procurement contracts.Monitor supplier and contractor compliance with contractual obligations.Resolve contractual and commercial issues proactively to minimize project risks.Cost Control & Budget ManagementCollaborate with Finance and Project Teams to establish procurement budgets.Implement cost-saving and value-engineering initiatives without compromising project quality or delivery.Monitor procurement expenditures and manage budget variations effectively.Risk ManagementIdentify procurement-related risks including supply chain disruptions, delays, cost escalations, and quality concerns.Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans to support uninterrupted project execution.Inventory & Logistics CoordinationEnsure the availability of materials and equipment in accordance with project schedules.Coordinate logistics, shipping, and delivery activities to project sites.Support effective inventory management and material tracking processes.MIS Reporting & DocumentationMaintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, contracts, and schedules.Prepare and present procurement reports, performance metrics, and status updates to management.Ensure timely reporting through ERP and Management Information Systems.Team Leadership & DevelopmentLead, mentor, and develop procurement professionals.Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.Support employee development and professional certification initiatives.Stakeholder ManagementServe as the key interface between internal departments and external stakeholders.Work closely with project teams, suppliers, contractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure procurement objectives are achieved.WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOREducation / Certifications / LicensesBachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline. Master's Degree is an advantage. Professional certifications such as CIPS, PMP, or equivalent are preferred.ExperienceMinimum 10 years of procurement experience, preferably within the Oil & Gas EPC industry. Proven experience managing large-scale procurement packages for EPC projects. Strong background in supplier management, contract negotiation, and procurement leadership.Skills and CompetenciesExcellent negotiation and commercial management skills. Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supply chain management, and industry best practices. Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent procurement platforms. Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making capabilities. Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to compliance and ethical business practices.
