Most of it is avoidable.Ophthalytics is an award-winning healthcare AI startup on a mission to change that. We build AI-powered products that transform retinal imaging, disease detection, clinical decision support, diabetic retinopathy screening, and clinical trial workflows — helping healthcare organizations catch disease earlier, work faster, and protect millions of people from preventable vision loss. We're looking for a Lead Product Manager to shape the future of that portfolio. This is not a backlog-management job. It's a high-ownership, multidisciplinary leadership role for someone who wants to build at the intersection of AI, clinical medicine, medical imaging, and global health — working directly with our Founder & CEO, executive leadership, world-class AI engineers, clinicians, hospitals, health systems, and pharmaceutical partners. The RoleYou will own the vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution of Ophthalytics' healthcare AI products. You are the bridge — between what clinicians need, what customers will pay for, what AI can actually do, what regulators require, and where the business is going. You'll sit with physicians to understand real-world friction, translate it into sharp requirements, and work shoulder-to-shoulder with engineering and AI teams to ship products that are clinically meaningful, technically scalable, and genuinely easy to use.A typical week might include: a workflow deep-dive with a retina specialist, a model-performance discussion with AI engineers, a roadmap presentation to a hospital CIO, and a strategy session with the CEO.
