This is a pivotal opportunity to help shape a new and expanding team, strengthen our technical capability, and enhance Kent’s presence and reputation across the sector.Role scope To provide EPC delivery leadership for the IK project team, to drive the delivery of the Manifa project including any engineering support, site surveys, procurement, sub-contract management, construction set-up and full construction execution (EPC delivery)Details / responsibilities Be a team leader, manage, and deliver the Manifa IK projectManage Coordination/Communication with other disciplines, key suppliers and sub-contractorsLead all project team members and functions to deliver the project - this includes HSE, QA, Engineering, Supply Chain, Sub-ContractsConsult Quality Assurance with any quality issues, ensuring compliance with ISO Quality procedures, Project Quality Plan and Design Integrity processes and proceduresAssist, and support all team members including the project engineering teamProvide support during fabrication, site construction, and commissioning activitiesKeep up to date with the latest developments and technical innovations in Project Management - knowledge and awarenss of AWP will be advantageousLead overall quality of the project (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project statusCooperate and communicate with other Engineering disciplines and Project Stakeholders to provide assistance and technical support, as and when requiredReview deliverables submitted by Subcontractor including project schedules, budgets, change managementConduct regular meetings with internal teams, key sub-contractors and ProponentDelegate tasks to team members according to their individual skill sets, experience, and abilities to ensure efficient completion of the projectMonitor project budgetPrepare meeting minutes, progress reports and presentations; deliver presentationsTrack performance and analyze the completion of key goalsDocument and report project progress to stakeholders and clientsMonitor adherence to performance standards, specifications, QA/QC rules, and related regulations and processesEstablish systems to collect data and measure the project’s metricsOrganize techniques for conducting field tests and for assessing their qualityQualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Project / Business Management10+ years relevant experienceHave worked for at least 5 years in similar positionsMust have EPC delivery experienceWork in office and Site based environmentsCapable of using the appropriate softwareExcellent interpersonal and analytical attributesAble to effectively communicate technical issues to peers and line manager(written and verbal).Solid understanding of engineering, procurement and construction principles, equipment standards, codes, and construction practices relevant to the industry.Solid familiarity with project management methodologies, tools, and techniques, including skills in planning, scheduling, resource allocation, cost control, contract management…etc.Strong capability in identifying hazards and mitigating risks.Ownership of responsibility for work by self and team.Strong capability in project management leadership.Capability to motivate and guide team members, resolve conflicts, and make informed decisions.Communication and interpersonal skills to hold presentation and keep audience interested.Professional commitment in following appropriate code of professional conduct, recognising obligations to society, the profession and the environment.Capabilities in estimating and forecasting.Behavioral Competency At Kent, you’ll be trusted to work independently and autonomously, with support when you need it.
