Job Title: ManagerJob Location: BangaloreWork Model: Mandatory Work from OfficeCandidate ExpectationsTotal Experience and Relevant Experience: 4 to 12+ yearsCandidate Location BangaloreSkills – Public-markets workflows, trade-lifecycle, corporate-actions, collateral, IBOR/ABOR, pricing and reconciliation knowledge.Diversity – NoEducation and CertificationQualification: Bachelor's or Master's degreeDetailed Job DescriptionRole overviewMinimum of 4 to 12 years of experience in managing complex public-markets workflows, investigate exceptions and coordinate resolution across internal teams, custodians and operational counterparties.ResponsibilitiesSet up and maintain counterparties, SSIs, portfolios, accounts and approved static data.Capture, enrich, amend and cancel trades, support matching, confirmation, settlement and daily status monitoring.Process routine corporate actions, margin and collateral activities, pricing feeds, reconciliations and P&L data.Maintain confirmations, settlement records, control checklists and audit evidence.Identify missing data, unmatched trades, settlement breaks, pricing exceptions or recurring processing errors and escalate within defined thresholds.Resolve complex trade, confirmation, position, cash, pricing and settlement breaks across listed, fixed-income and OTC instruments.Independently manage derivative documentation, negative affirmations, failed settlements, transaction amendments and operational claims.Analyse corporate-action impacts, support election processing against market deadlines and coordinate accurate downstream booking.Review daily collateral valuations, margin calls, eligible collateral allocation and UMR movements.Investigate pricing and P&L variances, support transaction-level explanations and ensure OTC static structures are established correctly.Perform peer reviews, coach junior analysts and contribute to SOP, control and workflow improvements.Oversee delivery across onboarding, trade capture, matching, settlement, corporate actions, collateral, market data, pricing, P&L support and OTC static data.Set daily priorities around market deadlines, high-value or complex exceptions, failed trades, material breaks and critical corporate-action events.Own service-provider SLA/KPI performance, quality reviews, control evidence, issue logs and operational reporting.Coordinate complex escalations with CPP Investments, custodians and counterparties within approved engagement protocols.Review exception trends and root causes, drive SOP, workflow, automation and data-quality improvements.Provide technical oversight, workload management, cross-training and coaching for junior and middle-level staff.Core CompetenciesFamiliarity with listed and OTC products such as equities, fixed income, FX, money-market instruments, derivatives and securities lending.Exposure to Murex, SCD/SimCorp, Bloomberg, Quantum/Cash Master, CTM/GTSS or comparable trade-processing and reconciliation platforms.Strong trade-lifecycle, corporate-actions, collateral, IBOR/ABOR, pricing and reconciliation knowledge.Hands-on exposure to Murex, SCD, Bloomberg, CTM, GTSS, TradeServ, IceLink, AcadiaSoft, TriOptima, Apex/Clearstream and UDAs, as relevant.KEY SKILLS: Strong trade-lifecycle, corporate-actions, collateral, IBOR/ABOR, pricing and reconciliation knowledge.
