At Al-Qadsiah, you’ll play a key role in shaping our legacy, contributing to the nation’s sports vision, and making history every step of the way.Overview:As the Lead Rehabilitation Physiotherapist at Al-Qadsiah Club, you will lead the assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of injured players, delivering world-class physiotherapy services that support player health, performance, and long-term development for the Women’s First Team. You will combine clinic-based physiotherapy with on-pitch rehabilitation and return-to-play delivery, ensuring players progress safely and effectively back into full training and competition.Key Responsibilities:Injury Management and RehabilitationDeliver high-quality physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for injured playersDesign and implement individualised rehabilitation programmes aligned with long-term athlete development principlesProgress players through structured return-to-play pathwaysMaintain accurate medical records, treatment plans, and injury documentationMonitor rehabilitation progress and adapt programmes to optimise outcomesOn-Pitch RehabilitationPlan and deliver progressive pitch-based rehabilitation sessionsIntegrate physical, technical, and football-specific components into rehabilitation programmesTransition players effectively from rehabilitation into full team trainingWork closely with performance staff to ensure readiness for return to competitionTraining and Squad SupportSupport team training sessions where requiredAssist with injury prevention strategies within the training environmentCollaborate with coaches and performance staff to modify training loads for returning playersSupport player availability throughout the seasonCollaboration and CommunicationWork closely with Strength & Conditioning, Sports Science, Coaching, and Medical staffProvide clear and consistent updates on player status, availability, and rehabilitation progressContribute to multidisciplinary decision-making regarding return-to-play and performance managementInjury Prevention and MonitoringSupport the design and delivery of injury prevention programmesContribute to screening and monitoring processes to reduce injury riskAssist in developing a robust and available squad through proactive athlete managementDepartment Development and Continuous ImprovementSupport the development and refinement of rehabilitation systems and processesContribute to a best-practice medical and performance cultureIdentify practical solutions and improvements within a high-performance environmentEngage in ongoing professional development and knowledge sharingQualificationsDesirable:MSc in Sports Physiotherapy or a related disciplineExperience working in academy or elite football environmentsKnowledge of female athlete health considerationsExperience working within multidisciplinary performance teamsSkills, Knowledge and Experience:Essential:BSc in Physiotherapy (or equivalent)Registered and licensed physiotherapistExperience in elite or sub-elite football environmentsStrong understanding of rehabilitation principles and return-to-play frameworksExperience delivering on-pitch rehabilitation programmesKnowledge of long-term athlete development principlesExcellent communication and interdisciplinary working skillsStrong clinical reasoning and decision-making abilityHigh attention to detail and player-centred approachStrong organisational and time management skillsDesirable:Experience working with GPS and athlete load monitoring systemsExperience supporting youth or developing athletesUnderstanding of performance monitoring and sports science practicesExperience working within international or multicultural sporting environmentsWhy Join Al-Qadsiah?Be Part of the Legacy: Join a club that’s redefining the future of Saudi sports, striving to lead the competition and set new standards of excellence.Experience the Culture: Thrive in an environment that values quality, accountability, diversity, synergy, innovation, and ambition, while embracing harmony—this is the Qadsiah Way.The Executives in Sport Group are retained on behalf of Al Qadsiah SC to make this appointment.
