IntroductionStart: ASAPEnd: 31/12/2026 with possible extension36 hours a weekZZP is allowedApplicants must already be in the Netherlands (no relocation possible)Job descriptionCommunicate with stakeholder to identify major gaps and improvements in current automation platform design and capabilities.Develop target software architecture design and roadmapPlan and ensure implementation of target software archtecture with the teamPropose software design improvement, development best practices, testing frameworks and approaches.Driving innovations to improve efficiency, reduction of new features development, including Machine LearningCommunicate, train and share knowledge with the team to improve (e.g., knowledge sessions, pair programming sessions, PR reviews, etc.)Hands-on development and codingRequirementsIncident Response Automation feature released following AAB SDLC standards and qualityRelevant knowledge, skills, competences & desired education level-5+ of experience in Software Engineering positions-Analysis of requriements and translating them into changes in software designs foreseeing future feature implementations.-Strong understanding of software engineering design patterns (e.g., sync/async, event-driven, messaging, concurrency, etc.).-Deep practical expertise in software engineering using server-less (e.g. functionapps) and container orchestration (e.g., Docker, k8s) technologies with CI/CD pipelines deployments in Azure environment.-Knowledge of quality assurance practices (e.g., Test-Driven Development (TDD), Behavior-Driven --Development (BDD), Split User Testing (A/B), Security Checks, Thorough System Checks, Performance Tests)-Excelent knowledge in Python, Javascript, NodeJS-Practical knowledge of messageing (Kafka, Azure ServiceBus, EventHub), Databases (SQL, NoSQL, -Redis, CosmosDB, Redis, Postgres), Monitoring (OpenTelemetry, AppInsights, Prometheus, Grafana) technologies.-Security first mindset-Result oriented problem solver with pragmatic approach-Ready for innovation, proposing innovation, flexible to adapt to changes-Strong communication skills and stakeholder management-Team player
