Lead Software Engineer

About the RoleWe are an early-stage hardware and robotics scale-up building automated, real-time manufacturing systems driven by software and physical AI.We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer to report directly to the leadership team and own the software platform that translates digital designs into automated production instructions for industrial hardware.Key ResponsibilitiesDelivery Leadership: Own software roadmaps, estimates, and milestones; lead a high-performing engineering team to ship production features.Hands-on Execution: Write production-grade code, architect platform features end-to-end, and conduct technical reviews to prevent field errors.Systems Architecture: Scale our control platform from single-unit prototypes to managing distributed, multi-unit deployments in production.Hardware Collaboration: Partner closely with systems and robotics engineers to bridge full-stack software with physical hardware execution.What We’re Looking ForDelivery Background: Track record leading software delivery as a Tech Lead, Staff, or Senior Engineer in a fast-paced startup or scale-up.Modern Full-Stack Stack: Strong proficiency in web/3D frameworks (Node.js, TypeScript, React, Three.js) combined with systems range (Python, C++, PLC).Physical Systems Exposure: Experience or genuine interest in software that controls physical hardware, automation, or physical AI systems.
