Scimplify operates offices and teams across 5 countries with 1,000+ innovator customers in 40+ countries.We are backed by investors such as Accel, Bertelsmann, Omnivore, Hitachi Ventures and 3one4 Capital, having raised over $80M.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn the engineering roadmap, system architecture, and technical direction.Lead and manage a team of engineers, including hiring, mentoring, performance management, and career development.Design and build scalable, secure, and high-performance systems.Drive engineering best practices, coding standards, architecture reviews, and technical governance.Partner with Product and Leadership to translate business requirements into technical solutions.Own end-to-end delivery of key engineering initiatives.Drive cloud-native development using AWS/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.Ensure system reliability, security, performance, and operational excellence.Lead critical production incidents and root-cause resolution.Evaluate new technologies and continuously improve engineering processes.Required Qualifications8–12+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in a technical leadership role, with at least 2 years working directly on AI/ML-driven products or platformsProven experience managing and mentoring engineering teams.Strong expertise in system design, microservices, APIs, and distributed systems.Proficiency in Python / Java / Node.js; React experience is a plus.Strong experience with AWS/GCP, databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.Strong communication, stakeholder management, and people leadership skills.PreferredExperience in high-growth startup/scale-up environments.Exposure to AI/ML or data-heavy platforms.Experience building and scaling engineering teams.
