Lead Software Engineer

The company focuses on software that reads and understands engineering documents like an experienced engineer, automating tasks such as scoping, cost estimation, specification checks, supplier sourcing, and purchasing.Role Description The Lead Software Engineer is a full-time role, the individual will design, develop, and maintain back-end services and APIs that power Parametric’s AI-driven industrial project platform. The role also involves collaborating closely with product managers, data scientists, and domain experts to translate engineering workflows into robust technical solutions, as well as improving system performance, reliability, and security. The Lead Software Engineer will help shape technical strategy, contribute to roadmap planning, and ensure that engineering deliverables align with customer needs and business goals.Remote/Mumbai/DubaiQualifications Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and systems design.Practical experience in Software Development and Programming, with a focus on building production-grade applications.Hands-on expertise in Back-End Web Development, working with APIs, databases, and cloud-based services. designing modular, maintainable codebases.Experience leading engineering projects or teams, including mentoring and technical decision-making.Familiarity with modern development practices such as CI/CD, automated testing, and version control (e.g., Git).Comfort working in a hybrid environment in Madrid and collaborating with cross-functional teams across time zones.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.Background in AI, machine learning, or data-intensive systems, particularly in industrial or engineering contexts vision MLStrong communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable ideas.vector embedding is a plus.
