You'll own a product vertical, set technical direction with the Architects, and lead a squad of full-stack engineers building performant, secure applications used by major institutional clients.This is a player-coach role: you'll write code, run code reviews, drive architecture decisions, and mentor the team — while partnering with Product and UX to ship what clients actually need.What You'll DoOwn technical direction and delivery for your squad — quality, performance, scalabilityLead architecture discussions, code reviews, and implementation decisionsBuild test automation across the stack and enforce engineering best practicesMentor engineers day-to-day and unblock the teamPartner with Product and Project Managers on scope, timelines, and prioritiesWhat You Bring10+ years of full-stack development — Java/Spring Boot backend, React or Angular with TypeScript frontendProven experience leading technical projects or teams in an agile environmentStrong architecture, design pattern, and performance optimization skillsREST APIs, GraphQL, SQL and NoSQL databasesGit, Maven/Gradle, CI/CD pipelinesBS/BA in Computer Science or related fieldBonus PointsDocker, Kubernetes, cloud platformsE2E testing (Playwright, Selenium, Cucumber)Financial services background — syndicated loans or leveraged finance a big plus
