About the Role
The Lead Solutions Architect and Technical Lead will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing the Gender Equality Management System (GEMS) overall architecture and technology including data infrastructure to support the ongoing implementation for GEMS Phase 2Scope of Work/ResponsibilitiesCoordination and Delivery Efficiency following Scrum Process:
- Lead all the technical coordination between GEMS team and with other ITD teams to shape the overall GEMS technical vision and ensure GEMS is secure, scalable, and fit business needs.
- Lead product design and engineering activities for the GEMS enhancements and Integrations, ensuring scope and technical solutioning contribute to the business case preparation and successful monthly GEMS releases.
- Lead the technical support to GEMS team across all phases of product design and engineering.
- Proactively coordinates with GEMS Business Analysts and Developers in the development of the necessary Technical User Stories for the project in GEMS Azure Dev Ops (ADO), and other supporting documents required for Change Advisory Board (CAB) for every production deployment.
- Proactively participates in all GEMS Scrum activities and GEMS events initiated by the business.
- Lead the tracking, monitoring and coordination of all production issues / incidents to GEMS L2 Team for root cause analysis and bug fixing, and updates the status of prod incidents in AskIT as the overall focal of GEMS L2 Support Team.Architecture Strategy & Governance:
- Focuses on high-level system design, aligning end-to-end technology with business goals, and defining system integration.
- Focuses on daily team execution, code quality, and hands-on software development guidance.
- Delivers architecture artifacts for product design and engineering.
- Ensure that all GEMS deliverables including proof-of-concept (POC) evaluations undergo proper governance reviews for consistency and quality as defined in the ITD Product Delivery Guide (PDG).
- Maintain timely presentation of artefacts and agendas for the Product Design & Engineering Group.
- Conducts mandatory checks of proposed solutions against the clients architecture principles.
- Ensure alignment across product workstreams during the Product Design & Engineering phases.
- Prevent architectural gaps between GEMS and with other the clients system for integration.
- Continues research and study of the latest tools and technologies in the market for possible implementation in GEMS as part of its product roadmap
- System Design, Modelling, Development and Best Practices:
- Spearhead the overall systems design and updates while adhering to industry best practices in design and analysis.
- Design the business, information, application, integration, security, infrastructure and solution architectures for GEMS
- Design and build solutions with Container Apps, Azure VNET/Subnet, Keys, Private Access, AIM, Cosmos DB and Power BI Services.
- Promote development of maintainable software to enable faster updates and enhancements, improve defect diagnosis and correction and reduce downtime and operational risks.
- Translate functional requirements into technical designs.
- Develop and manage reusable frameworks, software programs, and standards (shared services), ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Develop architecture artefacts covering key layers such as business, application, information, innovation, integration, technology and security.
- Lead the development of reference architectures for various business lines.
- Utilize low-code or no-code tool such as Power Automate to help build automated workflows between different apps and services.
- Other deliverables as maybe required during the product design and engineering phases.Data Management and Business Intelligence

- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst.
- Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform (Power Apps)/Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant.
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform (Power Apps)/Dynamics 365 Solutions Architect Expert
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar role, with proven expertise in product leadership and solution architecture.
- RIP (Right Integration Pattern) and Microservices Architecture Experience
- Architecture and Development:oTOGAF Enterprise Architecture PractitioneroDigiVision/Abacus Enterprise ArchitectureoDesigns and implements solutions using Azure DevOps, focusing on software development processes, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and TerraformClient Specialized Software and Platforms:oAt least two (2) years of experience using and administering Moody’s Analytics:

- Experience designing scalable and robust architectures aligned with business objectives.
- Strong analytical skills to identify, evaluate, and recommend solutions for complex business problems.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies, enterprise architecture frameworks, and integration strategies.
- Ability to collaborate with large, information-based organizations and work with cross-functional teams.
- Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders across diverse cultures and business environments.
