Lead Solutions Architect - Cloud

Shape the solutions behind complex customer transformations.Are you an experienced Solutions Architect who enjoys turning complex customer challenges into solutions that work – technically, operationally and commercially?At T-Systems, we are looking for a Lead Solutions Architect – Cloud to take end-to-end responsibility for solution design across complex national and international customer opportunities.Working at the intersection of customers, Sales and Delivery, you will bring together the right expertise to create innovative, scalable and commercially competitive solutions. You will lead multidisciplinary solution teams, influence senior stakeholders and help ensure that what we propose to our customers can be successfully delivered.This is an opportunity to combine technology, customer engagement, commercial thinking and leadership in a highly visible role.What you'll do...You will take the lead on solution design for complex customer opportunities, from understanding the initial requirements through to developing and presenting the proposed solution.You will:Own the end-to-end customer solution, ensuring it meets customer requirements while balancing technology, cost, risk and delivery capability.Shape solution strategies for complex Cloud, IT operations and outsourcing opportunities.Lead multidisciplinary solution teams, bringing together specialists from across T-Systems and, where required, multiple portfolio areas.Partner closely with Sales, Bid Management and Delivery, helping to develop competitive propositions that we can confidently sell and successfully deliver.Work directly with customers, leading and contributing to solution workshops, presentations and due diligence activities.Provide technical and commercial insight, identifying and assessing potential technical, operational and financial risks.Influence senior decision-making, preparing recommendations and presenting complex solutions and trade-offs clearly to senior management.Collaborate internationally, working with colleagues, delivery teams and partners across our global organisation.We are looking for someone who can combine strong technical understanding with customer focus, commercial awareness and the ability to lead others.You'll ideally bring:Significant experience in Solution Architecture, Solution Design, Technical Presales or a similar customer-facing technology role.Experience designing and shaping complex enterprise IT, Cloud, managed-services or outsourcing solutions.Strong knowledge of cloud and hybrid environments, including private and public cloud.A good understanding of IT architecture and the challenges involved in operating complex enterprise technology environments.Experience bringing together and leading multidisciplinary solution teams.Strong commercial awareness and the ability to assess technical, delivery and financial risks.Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to explain complex solutions to both technical specialists and senior business stakeholders.Experience working with customers and colleagues in an international environment.About T-SystemsT-Systems supports organisations with complex digital transformation and IT requirements, bringing together cloud, infrastructure, applications and managed services capabilities.You'll join an international organisation where collaboration across teams, technologies and countries is an important part of how we create solutions for our customers.We are committed to creating an inclusive recruitment process and welcome applications from candidates with different backgrounds, experiences and perspectives.
