Lead Solutions Architect - SEA & Greater ChinaSingapore | Temasek-backed Technology CompanyOur client is a Temasek-backed technology company transforming how businesses and individuals manage digital identity, data and trust across borders and industries.As the business expands across Southeast Asia and Greater China, they are looking for a Lead Solutions Architect to act as a technical anchor across customer engagement, solution design, prototyping and implementation.This is an opportunity for a hands-on technologist who enjoys working directly with customers and turning complex concepts into working solutions.The RoleYou will:Lead technical discovery, architecture discussions and solution design with customersTranslate customer requirements into secure, scalable and trust-enabled architecturesDesign solutions across APIs, microservices, distributed systems and cloud platformsBuild and deliver PoCs, prototypes, demos and reference implementationsSupport strategic customer engagements and resolve complex technical challengesGuide customers from discovery and validation through to production adoptionDevelop reusable solution patterns, reference architectures and technical documentationWork closely with product and engineering teams to bring customer insights into product directionRepresent the organisation at customer workshops, industry events and ecosystem engagementsWhat We're Looking For4+ years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Architect, Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Technical Consultant or Software EngineerStrong engineering foundation in distributed systems, APIs, microservices and cloud architectureA genuine builder mindset with the ability to write code, integrate systems and develop prototypesExperience working with both start-ups and enterprise environmentsKnowledge of identity and security technologies, such as OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, IAM, cryptography or decentralised identityExperience taking solutions from discovery → PoC → implementation → productionStrong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for engineers and senior stakeholdersExposure to AI systems and modern development toolsComfortable operating in ambiguity and making pragmatic technical decisionsAble to challenge customers constructively and influence technical directionMandarin language proficiency is requiredWillingness to travel across Southeast Asia and Greater ChinaWhy Join?Be a key technical figure in the company's expansion across SEA and Greater ChinaWork at the intersection of digital identity, cybersecurity, trusted data and AIBuild real solutions for customers rather than simply provide recommendationsInfluence both product strategy and the wider digital trust ecosystemWork with an international team across identity, cryptography and emerging technologiesFlexible hybrid working and working hoursCompetitive compensation and learning opportunitiesArgyll Scott Asia is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
