The program provides a highly immersive, experiential learning environment for elementary and middle school students, nurturing their creative confidence, communication, collaboration, and leadership skills. With programs offered across the Bay Area, Kidizens combines experiential learning with lessons in civics, history, and real-life scenarios to create a fun and engaging LEGO building environment. Students learn important skills such as problem-solving, decision making, conflict resolution, public speaking, and leadership through designing, building, and governing interactive LEGO cities.Role Description:At Kidizens, we empower future leaders—one city at a time. Our innovative, project-based educational program uses LEGO® city-building framework to teach children ages 6 to 12 about government, economics, problem-solving, and civic responsibility.We believe learning should be hands-on, imaginative, and meaningful. Through collaborative city-building projects, kids develop critical thinking, leadership, and social-emotional skills that prepare them for the real world.The Role: LEGO City Class InstructorAre you passionate about working with children in a creative and educational setting? Do you thrive in a dynamic, project-based learning environment filled with LEGOs and big ideas?We’re seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Lead Teacher to facilitate our after-school and homeschool programs across various Bay Area locations (Los Altos, Menlo Park, Palo Alto, Sunnyvale). As a Lead Teacher at Kidizens, you'll guide students through engaging civic, economic, and leadership lessons while they build their own LEGO cities.
