As an ISO 9001:2015 certified U.S.-based manufacturer, we’re committed to quality, continuous improvement, and exceptional customer service.📍 Position DetailsPosition: Lead Tool Room MachinistSchedule: Full-Time, On-SiteShift: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.Pay: $40–$45/hour, based on experience🔧 What You’ll DoReporting directly to the Engineering Manager, you’ll lead one Tool Room Machinist while overseeing tool room operations and supporting manufacturing needs.Key responsibilities include:

• Perform and oversee close-tolerance machining using manual and CNC lathes, mills, grinders, and other tool room equipment
• Set up and operate manual and CNC equipment
• Support CNC programming and process improvements
• Use Mastercam and CAD/CAM software for tooling and machining projects
• Manage tooling projects from concept through completion
• Inspect tooling and machined components to ensure quality standards
• Troubleshoot machining issues and implement corrective actions
• Coordinate materials, components, and outside vendor services
• Maintain equipment, records, and project documentation
• Mentor and support team members
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Quality
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce downtime, and increase efficiency
• Promote a safe, clean, organized, and efficient work environment🛠️ What We’re Looking ForRequired:
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• 10+ years of machining experience
• Strong experience with manual lathes, mills, grinders, and CNC equipment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical drawings
• Strong understanding of machining feeds and speeds
• Experience with close tolerances and precision measurement tools
• Knowledge of Mastercam or equivalent
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectivelyPreferred:
• 3+ years of CNC programming experience
• CAD/CAM experience
• Previous lead, supervisory, or tool room management experience
