🚀 We're Hiring: UI Frontend Lead Engineer – AEM & Generative AI (Claude)📍 Location: UK – Remote💼 Experience: 10–15+ YearsWe are looking for an experienced UI Frontend Lead Engineer with strong expertise in modern frontend technologies, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), AWS, and Generative AI tools such as Anthropic Claude and Claude Code.The ideal candidate will combine hands-on frontend engineering excellence with enterprise-level AEM architecture, technical leadership, and practical AI-assisted development experience.🔹 Key ResponsibilitiesLead frontend architecture and engineering standards for enterprise digital platforms.Develop scalable, high-performance applications using React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.Design reusable UI component libraries, design systems, and micro-frontend architectures.Architect and integrate Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) solutions, including AEM Sites, Core Components, editable templates, and client libraries.Implement AEM Headless integrations using GraphQL, REST APIs, and Content Fragment APIs.Leverage Claude AI and Claude Code for code generation, refactoring, debugging, documentation, and developer productivity.Drive frontend performance optimization, Core Web Vitals, accessibility (WCAG), SEO, and security best practices.Establish CI/CD pipelines, automated testing strategies, and frontend code quality standards.Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product owners, architects, and distributed engineering teams.Support cloud-native implementations and deployments on AWS.🔹 Required Technical SkillsFrontend Engineering: Expert-level React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.Adobe Experience Manager: Strong experience with AEM Sites, Core Components, templates, client libraries, and AEM as a Cloud Service.AEM Integration: Hands-on experience with AEM Headless, GraphQL, REST APIs, and content integration.Generative AI: Practical experience with Anthropic Claude and/or Claude Code for AI-assisted software development.AWS: Strong understanding of AWS cloud services and cloud-native application implementations.Performance & Accessibility: Advanced knowledge of web performance, accessibility, SEO, and responsive design.DevOps & Testing: Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright, or Cypress.🔹 Mandatory Qualifications10+ years of experience in frontend/UI engineering.Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale digital platforms using AEM.Strong hands-on expertise in React, Next.js, TypeScript, and modern frontend architectures.Experience designing reusable UI components and integrating frontend applications with AEM.Practical experience using Claude or Claude Code in software engineering workflows.Strong technical leadership, architectural governance, and stakeholder communication skills.Experience leading distributed engineering teams and establishing development standards.Understanding of cloud-native architectures across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.🔹 Role FocusFrontend Engineering (React, Next.js, TypeScript): 60%AEM Architecture & Integration: 25%Claude / AI-Assisted Development: 10%AWS: 5%🔹 Key Success MeasuresDeliver seamless integration between AEM and modern frontend frameworks.Improve application performance, accessibility, scalability, and code quality.Enhance developer productivity through responsible AI-assisted development.Reduce technical debt and improve component reusability.Drive technical excellence and architectural consistency across UI teams.🎯 Ideal Candidate: A hands-on UI Frontend Lead Engineer who combines deep React/Next.js expertise, enterprise AEM architecture experience, practical Claude AI skills, and AWS implementation knowledge.📩 Interested or know someone suitable?Please share your updated CV at james.a@dabster.net.
