Lean Business Analyst

Smartedge’s Client is looking for an individual to help with their Lean Business Analyst @ Dublin, Ireland (Hybrid Working)We are looking for an experienced Lean Business Analyst with strong banking experience to support business transformation and process improvement initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyse and improve existing business processes using Lean and continuous improvement principles.Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders.Identify process inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.Conduct workshops and stakeholder interviews.Create process maps, business requirements, user stories, and functional documentation.Work closely with business, technology, risk, compliance, and operations teams.Support process redesign and implementation of improvement initiatives.Track actions, risks, dependencies, and delivery progress.Ensure solutions align with banking regulations, policies, and business objectives.Required Skills & ExperienceProven experience as a Business Analyst within the banking/financial services sector.Strong understanding of Lean, process improvement, and business transformation.Experience with process mapping and requirements gathering.Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.Experience working with Agile/Scrum teams.Knowledge of banking processes, products, and regulatory environments.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Experience with tools such as Visio, Jira, Confluence, or similar.DesirableLean / Six Sigma certification.Experience in digital transformation or operational efficiency programmes.Experience working with large banking organisations.If this sounds like a role you would be interested in or if you know someone in this field.Connect with me or email me at pavitra.b@smartedgesolutions.co.ukAlternatively, you can call me on Tel: +44(0)203 500 2108.
