Lean Manufacturing Manager

Role Summary:The Manager, Lean Manufacturing serve as the global technical reference for Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma, architecting the "Standard Way of Working" across all global operations. This role ensures that every process from RFQ (Request for Quotation) to RFS (Ready for Shipment) is synchronized, waste-free, and governed by rigorous technical standards.Roles and Responsibilities:Architect, Audit and Update the Value Stream flow process, optimization and eliminating "white spaces" between RFQ and RFS stages.Audit and Validate the global standards for all manufacturing processes, ensuring that Lean methodologies are not just applied, but audited and sustained.Develop the Lean strategy and apply it in the operational area, aligning plant-level activities with corporate productivity and quality KPIs.Lead and mentor a high-performing team of three experts (2 Methods/Standardization Engineers and 1 Logistics SME).Define the competency levels required for Lean and Logistics across the organization, leading the certification programs for the experts.Oversee the "Global Best Practice Library," ensuring lessons learned in one facility are standardized across all others.Act as the final "Gatekeeper" for all new production methods, ensuring they meet Lean criteria before operational handover.Lead high-impact Six Sigma projects to reduce variability in manufacturing and administrative processes.Review and approve all plant expansions and new equipment designs to ensure they adhere to the established "Technical Law" of flow and ergonomics.Oversee the Logistics Expert to ensure that material movement is a "pull" system that supports manufacturing rather than creating bottlenecks.Lead the deployment of Industry 4.0 tools (automation, real-time tracking, and digital twins) to visualize the flow of goods and have the global informationDefine and monitor the "Global Health Scorecard" (Lead times, OEE, Scrap, Handling Damage, and Inventory Turns).Lead the most complex Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) for systemic failures that threaten quality problem (6 sigma).Qualification and Education:Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanic engineer, industrial engineer or a related field and MBA or related in Lean Manufacturing methodology and Lean 6 Sigma.Experience:Minimum 8 years of experience in project control, lean manufacturing environment and minimum 3 year as “champion” level role.Skills:Project ManagementLeadershipRisk assessmentData analysisMentorship & CoachingStrong RCA know howExpert Lean methodology know howStrong CI tools and methodology know howMS Office and ERPAudit Process
