The team is driven by craft, curiosity, and a commitment to reshaping how people experience coffee, bakehouse offerings, and cacao.Role Description The Learning and Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for designing and leading learning initiatives across Subko’s coffee, bakehouse, and cacao operations. This role oversees the end-to-end learning lifecycle, including needs analysis, program design, delivery, and evaluation for both frontline and corporate team members. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating training curricula, facilitating workshops and on-the-job training, managing learning content and systems, and partnering with managers to build role-specific capabilities. The Learning and Development Manager will collaborate closely with leadership to develop talent pipelines, support performance and leadership development, and ensure training aligns with Subko’s craft-focused culture and growth plans. The role also involves monitoring training effectiveness, maintaining learning documentation, and continuously improving learning strategies based on feedback and operational metrics.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Training & Development and Learning Management to design, implement, and track comprehensive learning programs.Candidates should possess skills in Training and Instructional Design to create engaging, role-relevant content and deliver effective in-person sessions.Candidates should possess skills in Leadership Development to support manager capability-building, succession planning, and talent growth.Experience with hospitality, food & beverage, specialty coffee, or retail environments is beneficial.Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management abilities, with a collaborative, hands-on working style.Proven experience in a Learning and Development or similar HR role, preferably 4–7 years, with responsibility for end-to-end training programs.Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business, Psychology, or a related field; relevant certifications in L&D or instructional design are an advantage.Comfort working on-site in a fast-paced, craft-driven environment and aligning learning initiatives with business goals and brand values.
