Position SummaryThe Training & Development Manager will lead the company's learning and development initiatives across multiple manufacturing facilities. This position will be responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving employee training programs supporting onboarding, technical skill development, leadership growth, safety and compliance, and employee engagement.The Training & Development Manager will work closely with Human Resources, Operations, and department leaders to identify training needs, develop effective learning solutions, evaluate training effectiveness, and promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct training needs assessments to identify organizational skill gaps and development opportunities.Design, implement, and maintain company-wide training and employee development programs.Develop annual training strategies aligned with business objectives.Coordinate and facilitate new hire orientation, onboarding, leadership development, technical skills, safety and compliance, and cross-training programs.Develop engaging training materials using various instructional methods and learning technologies.Coach and support managers and supervisors on employee development, coaching techniques, and performance improvement.Partner with department leaders to identify workforce development needs and implement effective learning solutions.Coordinate training events, workshops, and outside training resources.Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, employee feedback, and performance metrics.Drive continuous improvement of training programs and processes.Maintain training records, certifications, and documentation to support compliance requirements.Manage departmental training budgets.Assist with customer visits, facility tours, and presentations as needed.Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, accountability, and continuous learning.Support multiple shifts and work flexible hours when necessary to meet training requirements.QualificationsRequired:High School Diploma or GED.Preferred:Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field.Experience developing and delivering employee training programs.Manufacturing experience strongly preferred.Desired SkillsExcellent presentation and facilitation skills.Strong verbal and written communication abilities.Exceptional organizational and project management skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS) or HRIS platforms.Ability to analyze training effectiveness and implement process improvements.Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design.Manufacturing knowledge, including metal stamping, welding, machining, or assembly operations, is a plus.Ability to support multiple shifts and occasionally work flexible hours to meet training needs.
