We partner with organizations like Microsoft Education, Google for Education, Canva Education, and Minecraft Education to bring high-quality, practical training to educators and institutions nationwide.About the RolePhygital Labs is seeking a Learning and Development Specialist to serve as the dedicated onsite and virtual training lead for a South Carolina-based client engagement for the 2026–27 academic year. This is a hands-on facilitation and community-support role requiring travel to customer locations throughout the state.This is an independent contractor engagement. The Specialist will work in a self-directed manner, coordinating scheduling directly with the customer while meeting the deliverables outlined below. The Specialist will receive mentoring, guidance, and support from the Phygital Labs leadership team throughout the project. This position has growth opportunities to take on additional responsibilities within the team, including additional training engagements or projects with increased compensation accordingly. What You'll DoOnsite facilitation (~4 days/month, October–May): Deliver live training sessions and attend planning meetings at customer locations throughout South Carolina.Webinars (~8–10/month): Deliver 1–2 hour virtual training sessions via Microsoft Teams.Screencast videos (12 total): Update provided scripts as needed, record voiceover screencasts, publish as .mp4, and provide a thumbnail (.png) and caption file (.srt) for each.All training materials and initial video scripts are provided. You'll focus on delivery, facilitation, production, and relationship-building with customer faculty and staff.Async community monitoring: Actively monitor and engage in the Microsoft Teams community space, posting 1–2 times per week.Office hours: Host a recurring 30-minute weekly office hours session, scheduled on a cadence agreed upon with the customer.Time CommitmentApproximately 120 hours/month (excludes travel time)Hours may vary month to month or week to week based on the training scheduleFlexible scheduling, coordinated directly with the customerWhat You BringRequired:Background in K–12 or Higher EducationDemonstrated experience delivering high-quality professional developmentAI fluencyDynamic, engaging presenter with excellent verbal and written communication skillsSkilled at reading a room and adapting facilitation style in real time to fit participant needs and pacingExperience working effectively with participants from a variety of professional, cultural, and experience-level backgroundsAbility to work productively and remotely in a self-directed mannerWillingness to travel overnight several times per month to customer locations throughout South CarolinaPreferred:Microsoft Elevate Educator, Expert, or Certified Trainer statusProject management experienceCurrently resides in Charleston areaWhat We ProvideAll travel costs coveredLaptop plus all required software and subscriptionsAll training materials and video scriptsAdditional RequirementsBackground check required prior to startAs an independent contractor, you are responsible for your own taxes and are not eligible for company benefitsTo ApplyApply via this LinkedIn posting by September 18, 2026.
