قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجSpecial Minds places Learning Support Assistants, one-to-one shadow teachers, with children who have special educational needs, in schools and homes across the UAE. We're looking for bilingual Arabic/English practitioners, this is consistently one of our most-requested profiles, and we don't have enough of you.The job in one sentence: sit beside one child, in their classroom or at home, and help them access a day that isn't built for them yet, in the language the family actually speaks at home. Why bilingual matters here: many of the children we support come from Arabic-speaking families, attend Arabic or bilingual curricula, or need support that works in both languages, with a parent, a therapist, or a school team. An LSA who can genuinely move between Arabic and English closes a gap our English-only practitioners can't.What the role looks like day to day:One-to-one support for a single child, inside their mainstream classroom or at home, following the school calendar and daily timetable (or agreed home hours)Working from the child's individual support plan, behaviour, communication, or learning goals set with the school's SENCO or the familyCommunicating comfortably in Arabic and English, spoken and written, with the child, the family, and the school or therapy teamA short session record submitted within 24 hours of each sessionRegular contact with the school's SEN team or the family, and with your Special Minds coordinatorWe are looking for:Fluent, confident Arabic and English, both are used in this role, not just one with the other as a bonusA relevant qualification or a genuine head start on one: psychology, education, special needs, early-years, or a teaching diploma/degree in progressExperience with children, SEN experience is a strong advantage, general classroom or childcare experience is a reasonable startPatience for a job measured in small, repeated wins, not fast onesEligible to work in the UAE, or able to obtain sponsorship/NOC before the placement starts
