Learning Support Assistant (Arabic Speaking)

About the roleSpecial Minds is hiring a Learning Support Assistant for a school-based placement in Abu Dhabi. You will work one-to-one with a student inside the school, supporting them academically, socially, and behaviourally throughout the school day.ResponsibilitiesProvide one-to-one support to an assigned student during the school daySupport the student's participation and engagement in the classroomImplement strategies from the student's Individual Education Plan (IEP) in coordination with class teachers and therapistsTrack progress against learning targets and provide regular written updates to the school and the Special Minds teamFoster the student's independence — scaffolding learning rather than completing tasks for themMaintain professional conduct and confidentiality at all times as our representative within the schoolRequirementsBachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field (preferred)Experience supporting children with autism, ADHD, or other learning differences, as a shadow teacher, learning support assistant, or ABA therapistFluent in English and Arabic.Patient, dependable, and professionalBased in Abu Dhabi or able to commute daily; UAE school experience preferredCandidates must meet the specific placement requirements of the partner schoolWhat we offerFull-time role, school hours (Monday–Friday)Training and supervision from our clinical teamA meaningful role with direct, visible impact on one child's progress
