Learning Support Assistant / Nanny

A family based in Nad Al Sheba, Dubai is looking for an experienced, nurturing LSA/ Nanny for their 5-year-old with Autism (ASD). They also have a 9-year-old child in the home.This is a long-term, child-focused role for someone who is genuinely passionate about Autism and inclusion.Child & Role:5-year-old, non-aggressive, verbal with delay. Requires 1:1 support in a mainstream school setting and at home. You will be his LSA / Shadow Teacher at school and his Nanny at home.Duties - SEN / Autism Support + LSA:- 1:1 shadow support in school - help with focus, classroom routine, transitions- Implement IEP / therapy goals set by SENCO and therapists (OT, Speech)- Support with communication - visual schedules, PECS, social stories if needed- Emotional regulation and sensory support - calm corners, sensory breaks, managing meltdowns with positive behaviour strategies- Promote social interaction with peers and inclusion- Support with school work, homework, and early learning goals (phonics, numbers, fine motor)- Work closely with teachers, SENCO, and parents - daily feedback log- Encourage independence in daily living - toileting, eating, dressing, hygieneDuties - Nanny / General:- Safe school pick-up / drop-off- Healthy snacks and meals for children- Keep children’s rooms, toys, and school bags clean and organized- Age-appropriate activities, play-based learning, outdoor play- Occasional care for 9-year-old sibling (homework help, activities)- Light child-related housekeeping onlyCandidate Requirements:- Proven experience as SEN LSA / Shadow Teacher / Nanny for Autistic children - ESSENTIAL- Knowledge of ABA, positive behaviour support, sensory processing - highly preferred- Patient, calm, energetic, and genuinely caring- Good English - able to communicate with school- First Aid / CACHE / SEN training is a plus- Able to commit for minimum 1-2 years- References and police clearance requiredPackage:- Salary: DOE - Open depending on experience and qualifications - Employment Visa provided- Health Insurance- Annual return flight- Paid annual leave
