Learning Support Educator

We are seeking a qualified and collaborative Class Learning Support Educator (LSE) to join our Elementary School team.Our Class LSE model reflects our commitment to inclusive education, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and responsive teaching. The Class LSE works alongside the classroom teacher to strengthen learning support across the class while providing targeted support to students who need it.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the classroom teacher to plan and deliver inclusive, differentiated learning.Support students individually, in small groups and within whole-class learning.Provide targeted interventions and strategies based on identified student needs.Help students develop the skills, confidence and independence to participate successfully in classroom learning.Apply inclusive education practices to reduce barriers to learning.Contribute to classroom planning and the implementation of student support plans.Observe and monitor student progress and share relevant information with teachers and the Student Support Team.Support positive classroom routines, behaviour and student wellbeing.QualificationsRecognised Learning Support Educator qualification in Malta.Current legal right to live and work in Malta.Experience supporting children in an elementary/primary school setting.Strong understanding of inclusive education and differentiated instruction.
