We are united by a common mission: to deliver services and technology that fundamentally change how skilled workers and the businesses they serve get hard work done.Job Description:This position is responsible for the safe and efficient operations, monitoring, and maintenance preparation of wells, processing units, and related facilities. The role requires a strong focus on oil, gas, and water separation facilities operations along with major utilities and secondary expertise in all operations. This is a large project which includes not only on-site facility start-up but also utilization of operating tools, procedures, work-permitting, and training.Responsibilities:Responsible for personal safety and the safety of co-workers; follows and enforces all safety rulesServe as primary operations contact for assigned facilities; understand process flow, basic chemistry associated with unit, major line-ups, and all unit safety equipment, including isolation pointsReview computer data and computer-generated schematics to ensure process is optimizedPhysically inspect and monitor equipment and/or work area using vision, hearing, smell, and touch to ensure correct operationIssue Safe Work Permits, which involves high degree of proficiency on current operating conditions as well as chemical, personnel, and process safety risks associated with operating unitPerform gas testing as necessary to ensure operating area is safe to allow for specific maintenance activitiesConduct process monitoring activities including gauge tanks, read meters, accurately record data, take product samples, monitor differential pressure, chemical injection rates, check for leaks, freezing, overheating, etc.Perform "visual maintenance" by checking critical performance parameters such as temperature, pressure, level, flow rate, and/or vibration to ensure all equipment is operating within its defined operating envelopeAdjust local process parameters (temperature, pressure, etc.) to maintain product specifications within their optimal operating windowKeep company vehicle maintained and in good working conditionCoordinate oil sales and saltwater hauling as necessaryMaintain accurate electronic or paper gauge sheets properly and note reasons for production changesCheck control valve positions to ensure valves are correctly positionedPerform basic equipment maintenance (adding lube oil, water, tightening valve packing, changing filters and steam traps, clearing equipment, etc.)Communicate with Production Foreman to remain informed of existing process conditions and relate any changes made or neededPerform winterization and summarization of equipment for maximum equipment efficienciesMonitor field equipment using electronic test equipment including handheld monitors and computer monitoring equipmentInspect safety valves, fire extinguishers, fire hoses, breathing apparatus, and other safety equipmentParticipate in continuous improvement of all aspects of the business assigned to executeUnderstand and perform work according to environmental policies and procedures; execute work in a manner that eliminates or minimizes environmental impacts (flaring emissions, oil spills, etc.); attach a high priority to resolving environmental problemsUnderstand and follow all working rules; continuously improve job knowledge and skillsDemonstrate reliable attendance; able to work independently where appropriate; support the team effort to execute assigned tasks and meet the team's business objectivesSkills and Qualifications:College degree or trade school certificate requiredPrevious experience in a closely related positionExperience in new facilities startup and operations highly desirableDemonstrated good interpersonal relationships and a team playerStrong effective communicatorHigh level of personal initiative and commitment to improve business resultsMust be able and willing to work on a rotating shiftMust be available for call out as situation dictatesAbility to interact effectively in a multi-cultural environmentAbility to maintain, operate, and repair surface equipment associated with the production of oil & gasExcellent computer skills with great written and oral communication skillsMust be physically able to lift > 50 lbs and climb ladders/stairwaysMust be able to use a Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) and other safety detectors and equipmentRole Details:Location: Tilden, TexasSchedule: 8 days on / 6 days offPay: $51.90/ HrAdditional Info: Agency supplied truck ½ ton 4WD, agency supplied tools, standard toolbox
