The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing leasing activities, fostering positive relationships with prospective and current tenants, and ensuring smooth property operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong customer service skills, administrative experience, and a background in property management or sales. The Leasing Agent will play a vital role in maintaining occupancy rates and promoting a positive community environment.ResponsibilitiesGreet and assist prospective tenants through in-person visits, phone calls, and virtual toursManage leasing inquiries via various communication channels with professionalism and courtesyUtilize Yardi or similar property management software to track leads, lease agreements, and tenant informationConduct property showings and explain lease terms clearly to potential tenantsPrepare lease documents, process applications, and coordinate move-in proceduresMaintain accurate data entry and filing of tenant records and leasing documentationFollow up with prospects to convert inquiries into signed leasesAssist with administrative tasks such as filing, data management, and maintaining the CMMS systemProvide excellent customer service by addressing tenant questions or concerns promptlyCollaborate with property management team to ensure compliance with policies and proceduresRequirementsProven experience in office administration, property management, or leasing preferredStrong knowledge of Yardi or similar property management software is highly desirableExcellent sales skills combined with exceptional customer service abilitiesEffective negotiation skills to close lease agreements successfullyProficient in data entry, filing, and maintaining organized recordsFamiliarity with CMMS systems is a plusOutstanding phone etiquette and communication skills both in person and over the phonePrior experience in customer relationship management (CRM) is advantageousAbility to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentStrong organizational skills with attention to detailThis position offers an engaging work environment where your interpersonal skills and administrative expertise will contribute directly to the success of our community.
