Responsibilities include liaising with buyers and suppliers, preparing product sheets, monitoring quality and timelines, and ensuring that styles meet pricing, material, and design requirements. The merchandiser will analyze sales trends, support assortments for various markets, and collaborate closely with production, quality, and logistics teams to meet delivery schedules. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata.Qualifications Experience in leather goods merchandising or fashion accessories, including product development, sampling, and order follow-up.Knowledge of leather types, materials, trims, and basic manufacturing processes relevant to bags, wallets, belts, and other leather products.Strong coordination and communication skills for working with buyers, vendors, production teams, and quality control staff.Ability to analyze demand, monitor inventory and sales performance, and support pricing and assortment decisions.Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel), documentation, and maintaining accurate product and order records.Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple styles and orders within strict timelines.Prior experience in export houses or fashion/lifestyle brands is beneficial.Relevant diploma or degree in Fashion Merchandising, Leather Technology, Business, or a related field is preferred.
