The institute is committed to fostering future-ready competencies and promoting lifelong learning.Role Description The Lecturer in Management & Research is a full-time, on-site role based in Saint Julian’s, Malta. The lecturer will design and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in management and research-related subjects, using project-based and evidence-driven teaching methods. Responsibilities include preparing and updating curricula and course materials, delivering lectures, seminars, and workshops, supervising student projects and theses, and providing academic mentorship. The lecturer will conduct and disseminate applied and/or academic research, collaborate with colleagues on program development and accreditation requirements, and contribute to quality assurance processes. The role also involves participating in institutional initiatives such as the Career Competency Lab, engaging with industry and academic partners, and supporting the development of learners’ professional and leadership competencies.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong expertise in Business Management/ Hospitality & Tourism/ or related field and related disciplines, with a track record of academic or professional practice in management.Candidates should possess skills in Curriculum Development, including designing, updating, and aligning course content with accreditation and industry standards.Candidates should possess experience in Lecturing and University Teaching, with the ability to deliver engaging, inclusive, and evidence-based instruction.Advanced degree (preferably PhD or equivalent) in Management, Business, or a closely related field; a Master’s degree with significant experience may be considered.Demonstrated research capability, including publications or applied research projects, and willingness to contribute to EU Global’s research agenda.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to teach diverse, international cohorts and support learner-centered education.Experience with project-based learning, competency-based education, or innovative teaching methodologies is highly beneficial.Ability to work collaboratively within a multicultural academic environment and contribute to institutional development and accreditation processes.Must be able to work in a paper-less environment - e-campus (Moodle) content management, electronic group messaging, forms, and other online collaborative tools. Must be good in MS Excel, and highly organised to review progression of large number of students.
