Lecturer – BSc (Hons) Fashion Management

Company Description JCA – London Fashion Academy is seeking an enthusiastic and industry-experienced Lecturer to contribute to the delivery of our BSc(Hons) Fashion Management and Strategy programme.The successful candidate will combine higher education teaching experience with relevant professional experience in the fashion, business or wider creative industries.The principal duties of the role will include:Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, workshops and tutorials.Teach areas such as fashion management, business strategy, fashion marketing, brand management, merchandising, retail, entrepreneurship and sustainability.Prepare teaching materials and incorporate current industry practice, case studies and digital tools.Assess student work and provide constructive feedback.Support students' academic and professional development.Contribute to curriculum development and academic quality standards.Maintain awareness of developments across the fashion and creative industries.Role Description The requirements for the position are:Postgraduate qualification in Fashion Management, Fashion Business, Fashion Marketing, Strategic Management, Creative Industries or a closely related subject.Relevant professional experience within fashion, retail, luxury or the wider creative industries.Higher education teaching and assessment experience.Strong knowledge of fashion management, business and strategy.Excellent communication, presentation and organisational skills.Ability to support students from diverse backgrounds and connect academic theory with professional industry practice.Experience in curriculum development, undergraduate research supervision, industry-led projects and relevant digital or fashion software is desirable.
