Teaching is delivered by a competent faculty committed to high academic standards and student-centered learning.Role Description The Lecturer role is a full-time, on-site position based at Herald College Kathmandu. The Lecturer will design and deliver lectures, seminars, and tutorials, ensuring alignment with program learning outcomes and academic standards. Key responsibilities include preparing course materials, assessing student work, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining accurate academic records. The Lecturer will support students through academic advising, supervision of projects or dissertations where applicable, and regular consultation hours. Additional duties include contributing to curriculum development, participating in departmental meetings, engaging in scholarly or professional development activities, and supporting college events and initiatives as needed.QualificationsRelevant postgraduate degree (master’s or higher) in a related discipline such as Business Administration, Business Management, or a closely aligned field.Demonstrated teaching experience at the undergraduate or postgraduate level, with ability to deliver clear, engaging, and inclusive instruction.Strong skills in curriculum planning, lesson preparation, assessment design, and student feedback.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts in an accessible manner.Evidence of ongoing professional development, research engagement, or industry experience relevant to the subject area.Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse academic community and to support a positive, respectful learning environment.Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with capacity to handle multiple teaching and administrative responsibilities.Familiarity with international academic standards and experience with UK-affiliated or similar transnational education programs is an advantage.
