University of Science and Technology Chittagong (USTC) is looking for Lecturer (Economics)Job Description / ResponsibilityApplications are invited for the post of Lecturer (Economics), Dept of Finance and Banking in the Faculty of Business and Entrepreneurial Sciences (FBES) on the prevailing terms and conditions of USTC.Job ResponsibilitiesTeaching Undergraduate and Graduate courses as per USTC rules;Undertaking research, organizing workshops in the Faculty;Maintaining documentation as per the requirements of UGC, BAC etc;Preparing course outline, lesson plan, lecture materials, tutorial and schedule for students and conduct theoretical, tutorial and lab classes, extension teaching, related research and cooperative field experience;Conducting Examinations and related tasks;Guiding and supervising project work, internship, dissertation or thesis;Guiding and supervising students to perform curricular and co-curricular activities;Carrying out administrative tasks assigned by the Authority time to time;Conducting research and experiments to advance knowledge in the concerned fields with publications;Educational RequirementsBachelor of Business Administration (BBA)Master of Business Administration (MBA)BBA, MBA in Economics from any reputed university with minimum 3 (three) first division/class as per UGC guidelines.Additional RequirementsCandidates having experience and publication will be given preference.Job LocationChattogram
