The institution focuses on quality teaching, student development, and a supportive learning environment for both learners and staff.Role Description The Lecturer in Computer Science is a full-time, on-site role based in Coimbatore South. The lecturer will prepare and deliver undergraduate lectures, tutorials, and lab sessions in core computer science and related areas, ensuring content aligns with the curriculum and academic standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and updating course materials, setting and assessing assignments and examinations, mentoring and advising students, and supporting their academic progress. The lecturer will participate in departmental meetings, contribute to curriculum development initiatives, engage in academic and industry-oriented activities, and assist with college events and outreach as needed.Qualifications Strong foundation in core Computer Science concepts and ability to teach them effectively.Practical experience and teaching ability in Programming (e.g., C, C++, Java, Python or similar languages).Knowledge of Cybersecurity principles and practices, with the ability to integrate relevant topics into courses.Experience in Curriculum Development, including designing syllabi, learning outcomes, and assessment methods.Proven Lecturing skills, including classroom management, student engagement, and clear communication.Master’s degree or above in Computer Science or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.Ability to use educational technologies, learning management systems, and digital tools to support teaching.Strong interpersonal skills, commitment to student success, and ability to work collaboratively within a diverse academic team.Prior teaching or academic experience at the college or university level is highly desirable.
