Call for Applications: Lecturer in Economics (Undergraduate Program)Department: Department of EconomicsPosition: Lecturer / Teaching Fellow in EconomicsEmployment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time Location: Paragon International University, EAS Campus Position OverviewThe Department of Economics, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Paragon International University invites applications for a teaching position in Economics at the bachelor’s degree level. The successful candidate will deliver core and elective undergraduate courses, participate in curriculum enhancement, and support undergraduate students through academic advising and mentorship.Key Responsibility:Teach introductory, intermediate, higher level undergraduate courses, such as Principles of Microeconomics, Principles of Macroeconomics, Intermediate Economic Theory, Development Economics, and Econometrics.Develop engaging course syllabi, lecture materials, assignments, and examinations aligned with program learning outcomes.Conduct regular office hours and offer academic guidance to undergraduate students.Evaluate student performance, provide timely constructive feedback, and supervise undergraduate research projects or capstone theses.Collaborate with faculty colleagues on departmental initiatives, curriculum reviews, and pedagogical developments.Required QualificationsMaster’s degree or Ph.D. in Economics or a closely related field from an accredited university.Proven record of successful teaching experience at the undergraduate level.Strong command of quantitative methods and core economic theory.Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.Preferred QualificationsPh.D. in Economics (completed or near completion).Familiarity with statistical software commonly used in undergraduate instruction (e.g., EViews, R, Stata, Python).Experience using Learning Management Systems (e.g., Canvas, Moodle, Google Classroom, Blackboard) and incorporating modern educational technology into classroom settings.Application RequirementsInterested candidates should submit the following documents as a single PDF:A cover letter highlighting relevant teaching experience and areas of expertise.A short Curriculum Vitae (CV).Recent teaching evaluations or student feedback summaries (if available).Contact details for two or three professional references.Submission Process & DeadlinePlease submit application materials to pmoolio@paragoniu.edu.kh & hr@paragoniu.edu.kh Application Deadline: 30 September 2026Expected Start Date: 01 October 2026.Inquiries: Contact pmoolio@paragoniu.edu.kh for any questions regarding the application process.
