The lecturer will design, deliver, and assess undergraduate and/or postgraduate IT courses, ensuring alignment with institutional standards and industry needs. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching lectures and tutorials, supervising labs or practical sessions, and providing academic advising and mentoring to students. The role involves developing learning materials, contributing to curriculum review and enhancement, participating in departmental meetings and committees, and engaging in research or scholarly activities in information technology. The lecturer is also expected to support outreach, industry engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives within the university.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong knowledge and practical expertise in Information Technology, including current tools, systems, and methodologies.Candidates should possess skills in Teaching and Lecturing, with experience in higher education or professional training environments.Candidates should possess Training and instructional design abilities, including preparing course materials, assessments, and student support strategies.Candidates should possess Software Development skills, such as programming, software engineering practices, and application or system development.Relevant academic qualification, preferably a master’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field.Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse learners and foster an inclusive classroom environment.Experience with educational technologies, learning management systems, and ICT tools for teaching and assessment.Evidence of research, publications, or industry collaboration in IT or related disciplines is highly beneficial.Ability to work collaboratively within a multicultural academic community and uphold high standards of professional and ethical conduct.
