Developing and delivering solution in exciting and challenging environments and against tight deadlines, our Senior Engineers drive the onsite teams to ensure excellence is achieved in all aspects of delivery.QualificationsMinimum 5+yrs experience in a similar role, with a good understanding of the live events industry.Calculation of equipment power requirements for projectsCalculation of server output requirement, pixel counts and processor loading capacity for LED projectsExperience working and operating on Corporate and Social event environments.Computer skills, including all Microsoft Office applications is essential.Excellent understanding of Network Architecture, Projection, Camera and Media Server systems.Installation, configuration and dismantle of LED ScreensMust display a positive attitude both in the warehouse and on-site.Methodical and analytical approach to work with good fault-finding skills.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Ability to cope well under pressure and capable of working to deadlines.High level of accuracy and attention to detail.Self-motivated and able to work under own initiative as well as part of a team.Reliable with good time keeping record and committed to personal development.Actively demonstrate and promote safe working methods / safe lifting practices.Ability to maintain a safe, clean and hazard-free environment.Employees are expected to ensure that the Company’s policies, procedures and obligations are adhered to in carrying out all dutiesFluency in English, both written and oral is essentialCore ResponsibilitiesCommunication: Ability to follow and constructively work alongside others as required, contributing towards team efficiency and the betterment of the business.Attitude: A positive attitude gets the work done and motivates others to do the same without dwelling on the challenges that inevitably come up in the job. A positive attitude is something that is most valued by supervisors and co-workers, and that also makes the job more pleasant and fun to go to each day.ResponsibilitiesVideo TechnologyWork as part of the team in the design, preparation, installation and operation of all video equipment.Maintaining and updating technical documentation regularlyEnsure equipment software is current and licenses are obtained as requiredEnsure an acceptable working pace is maintained in the departmentIdentify common faults within the prep process and report to the Foreman & General ManagerTesting new and repaired hardware and software before full-scale installationInform the Foreman & General Manager of any shortages of equipment / consumables for forthcoming jobsSupport the department with routine maintenance and repair of equipment where neededEnsure the Company’s quality standards are maintained at all timesKeep up to date with the latest technology within the departmentEnsure all equipment is ready to work as it is required to during the event and undertake a responsibility for show operatingFaulty / Damaged equipment to be clearly marked and Foreman & General Manager notified of this at the earliest opportunity.Support with routine maintenance to ensure the equipment is kept in a good, safe and efficient working condition.Attend production and site meetings as requiredJob Type: Full-timeAbility to commute/relocate:Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Assist other departments when required, provided there are no outstanding tasks within the Video Department.
