We provide strategic, business-focused legal advice to growing companies, business owners, healthcare professionals, and investors navigating acquisitions, transactions, restructurings, and complex commercial decisions.Our work is focused on M&A, regulated industries, healthcare businesses, and emerging companies at important growth or transition points.This is an opportunity to work directly alongside the founder of a growing boutique firm, with meaningful exposure to sophisticated transactions and a real role in keeping the practice operating smoothly.The RoleWe are looking for an experienced Legal Administrative Assistant to join BridgePark Counsel and take ownership of a broad administrative and transactional support portfolio.This is a hybrid role based in the GTA.You will support a wide range of corporate and transactional matters, including:Acting as a key point of contact for client communications and internal coordination, managing the flow of work with professionalism and good judgmentOpening new client matters and managing related administrative processes, including file management and billing coordinationDrafting and finalizing legal documents, correspondence, and ancillary closing materialsAssisting with transactions and closings, including tracking deliverables, coordinating signatures, and supporting the preparation of closing materialsLiaising with clients, counterparties, and other internal and external parties with professionalism and responsivenessManaging calendars, deadlines, and scheduling across various active mattersPreparing marketing materials and supporting business development initiativesCoordinating administrative and accounting functionsLeveraging technology to support legal professionals and clients efficiently and effectivelyWhat We Are Looking ForThe ideal candidate will have:A minimum of five years of experience as a Legal Administrative Assistant, ideally in a corporate or commercial law environmentStrong organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to draft correspondence and documents with care and precisionStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort with legal technology and document management systemsSound professional judgment and a client-first orientationThe ability to work independently, take initiative, and see tasks through to completionA collaborative and team-oriented approach, with the interpersonal skills to work effectively with lawyers, clients, and external partiesWhat Makes This Role DifferentThis role is intentionally designed to offer something that is increasingly rare: the chance to be genuinely involved in the work.
