Joining the firm offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful legal work in a collaborative, service-oriented environment.Role Description The Legal Administrative Assistant will provide day-to-day administrative and clerical support to lawyers and legal staff in a fast-paced practice. Responsibilities include preparing, formatting, and managing legal documents and correspondence, organizing client files, maintaining calendars, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings and court or hearing dates. The role also involves handling phone and email inquiries, managing data entry, assisting with billing or timekeeping, and supporting client intake and file management. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Vancouver, BC, requiring consistent in-office presence and collaboration with the legal team.QualificationsStrong foundation in Law and Legal Document Preparation, including drafting, formatting, and reviewing legal documents with attention to detail.Excellent Communication skills in English and Farsi, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.Proven Administrative Assistance capabilities, including scheduling, file management, data entry, and office support tasks.Solid Organization Skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and maintain accurate records in a busy legal environment.Proficiency with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, document management systems) and comfort learning new legal or case management tools.Previous experience in a law firm or legal environment, or completion of a legal assistant or paralegal program, is an asset.Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, and work respectfully with clients from diverse backgrounds.Strong reliability, professionalism, and willingness to support a team-oriented, client-centred practice.
