As VIWELL continues its transition into a B2B2C model and expands across the GCC, we are looking for a commercially minded Legal Advisor to support the business across technology, data privacy, commercial contracting, and regulatory matters.The RoleThe Legal Advisor will provide practical, business-focused legal guidance across VIWELL’s operations, with a particular focus on technology and SaaS agreements, data protection and privacy, commercial contracts, consumer-facing matters, and GCC regulatory requirements.The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced technology environment, translating legal requirements into practical business solutions, and partnering closely with commercial, product, technology, HR, and leadership teams.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide day-to-day legal advice to VIWELL on commercial, technology, operational, and regulatory matters.Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide range of commercial agreements, including:SaaS and technology agreementsClient and B2B agreementsVendor and supplier agreementsPartnership and collaboration agreementsData processing agreementsNon-disclosure agreementsService agreements and Statements of WorkSupport the business on data protection, privacy, cybersecurity, and information governance matters relevant to VIWELL’s digital platforms and services.Advise on legal requirements relating to VIWELL’s B2B2C model, including consumer-facing terms, digital services, user consent, and platform-related matters.Monitor and advise on applicable UAE and GCC laws, regulations, and regulatory developments, particularly those affecting technology, digital services, data, privacy, and commercial operations.Support the business in establishing appropriate contractual frameworks for expansion into new GCC markets.Identify legal and contractual risks and provide clear, commercially practical recommendations to mitigate them.Develop and maintain legal templates, standard terms, policies, clauses, and contract playbooks.Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure contracts and business initiatives are legally sound while remaining commercially viable.Support with corporate governance, licensing, regulatory filings, and other corporate legal matters as required.Coordinate with external legal counsel when specialist advice or jurisdiction-specific support is required.Assist with dispute management, claims, and legal correspondence where necessary.Maintain an organized contract and legal documentation framework and support the business with contract lifecycle management.Provide legal input into new products, services, partnerships, and market-entry initiatives.Key RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Law; a relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage.5+ years of relevant legal experience, preferably gained within the UAE or wider GCC.Strong experience in technology, digital, SaaS, commercial contracts, and/or data privacy law.Experience working with technology companies, SaaS businesses, digital platforms, fintech, healthtech, employee benefits, or similar technology-driven businesses is highly desirable.Good understanding of UAE data protection and privacy requirements, with broader GCC knowledge considered a strong advantage.Experience reviewing and negotiating technology and commercial agreements with corporate clients, vendors, and strategic partners.Strong understanding of contractual risk, liability, indemnities, intellectual property, confidentiality, data protection, and commercial terms.Ability to understand and advise on legal considerations within a B2B2C / consumer-facing digital business model.Strong knowledge of applicable UAE and GCC commercial and regulatory frameworks.Fluent written and spoken English and Arabic.Strong negotiation, drafting, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple matters, and provide practical advice in a fast-moving environment.Commercially minded with the ability to balance legal risk with business objectives.What We’re Looking ForWe are looking for someone who is more than a traditional legal advisor — someone who can become a trusted business partner to VIWELL as we scale.The successful candidate should be able to take a complex legal issue, understand the commercial context, and provide clear, practical, and actionable advice rather than purely theoretical legal opinions.You should be comfortable operating in a growing technology environment where priorities can change quickly and where legal support is required across multiple areas of the business.
