Legal & Governance Officer

As Legal & Governance Officer within an international logistics environment, you support the Group on a broad range of legal matters, including international commercial contracts, corporate law, litigation and corporate governance. You provide practical legal advice to Group companies and act as a subject matter expert in commercial, customs and postal law, while also supporting legal matters relating to the Group’s shareholders.Your tasks:You are responsible for drafting, reviewing and negotiating international commercial contracts, particularly within the logistics sector.You provide practical legal advice on corporate law matters relating to the Group companies.You manage litigation matters and act as the Group's subject matter expert in commercial, customs and postal law.You advise on commercial relationships with the Group's shareholders and provide support on corporate governance matters.You work confidently in both English and French, with excellent written and spoken communication skills.Your profile:Master’s degree in law (Master 2 or equivalent) in international business law; admission to a French or other European Bar is an advantage.At least 5 years’ relevant experience, ideally in an international company or business law firm.Fluent written and spoken English and French; additional languages, particularly German, are an advantage.Pragmatic, business-oriented and able to work independently in an international environment.Our facts:Our mission is to consistently exceed our customers’ expectations.We offer fair and contemporary working conditionsYour workplace will be based in Paris, with flexibility through our remote working policy.
